Frequently Asked Questions

All firearms training are mandated through law a minimum number of hours of instruction.  Under the Canadian Firearms Safety Program Procession Acquisition Licence this would include 12 hours of mandated instructional time.  This does not include testing.

If an instructor is audited and has been found not to meet the requirements there is a chance that all PAL holders that went through their training could have their licenses submitted for review.

Minimum age for a PAL is 12 years old.  They must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to take the course.  For more information follow this link

With years of instructional experience Northwest Adventure has found that the optimal class size for maximum interaction between student and instructor tends to be between 6-8 students.
