What is Semper In Custodia? In short it is a continuation in to self reliance. As adventure travellers we have a tendency to be self reliant. We also tend to be wise as well as moderate as we live with a sense of humility, not hubris.  As life begins to get more complex, where genuine questions tend to get ignored by the majority, cost of living is increasing everyday, selective justice is issued, social media has created unrealistic expectations and half truths, there is a need to return to a sense of balance. The answer is simple, return to the basics. 

This page is to cover basic homesteading from growing food to hunting and fishing. A return to a more simpler time. As we begin to look ahead, we notice that if Canada keeps going the way it is going, by 2040 we will back to hunter and gathers, so it is time to develop a sense of self reliance and barter. It's not a new idea but it is an idea that works. There is a sense of accomplishment when you grow your own food, hunt your own food, build simple projects and so on, just like adventure travel, so this is dedicated to all who are capable of critical thought, average emotional intelligence and the need to be self reliant. This will be a page that discusses ideas and the politics that may affect them.  It will be an open source to share tips tricks and maybe a few laugh through a FAIL, First Attempt In Learning, so articles can be submitted for possible publication.

This page is not about conspiracy theories, chemtrails, overthrowing the government, extreme left or right, intolerance, World War 3, militias, etc. It is about minimizing government/corporate reliance and learn to be on our own, the pioneering spirit. It is an open source for self reliance.
