Norwegian Explorer Roald Amundsen had quoted this.  Venturing into the unknown comes with risks and he knew that.  Through planning and preparation these risks can be mitigated.

As an adventure traveller I truly believe in exploring our world from a grass roots level, which means travelling on the road and taking the route less known.  We are all known by many names, such as overlanders, explorers, hikers etc. 

The rewards of this style of travel is connection with nature, the wonderful mosaic of our cultures and people. 

Located in Manitoba's Parkland Region it is the ideal area to take on the sights as we range from cultivated lands to wilderness.  With such diversity in terrain it is also the ideal place to get your feet wet with some basic and intermediate skills.
